《The Hug》-康静文-成都高新区实验小学

理论依据

    《英语课程标准》指出，英语课程应该根据教和学的需求，提供贴近学生、贴近生活、贴近时代的英语资源。绘本的语言简单又生动，给学生的思维提供了很大的空间，也为学生提供了丰富的生活体验，学生可以通过绘本的整体情绪，对故事展开联想，培养学生逻辑思考，预测，推测等能力。我们要在长期的绘本阅读中，注重潜移默化地激发儿童阅读兴趣，对学生的思维、语言的发展、审美能力进行培养，通过绘本阅读，让孩子的综合素质得到培养和提高。

教材分析

    该故事，围绕一只刺猬渴望得到一个拥抱展开，他分别去找了不同的动物寻求帮助，最后在一只智慧的麋鹿的帮助下，实现了愿望。本课生单词较少，句型重复较多，主要在于让孩子在学习语言的同时，对其进行情感的教育。

学情分析

本课的教学对象是四年级的学生，他们充满了好奇心与求知欲，有较强的表现欲、活泼好动善于模仿，渴望得到正面的评价。他们有三年英语学习经历，具备一定的基础。。同时这个年龄段的学生敢于开口说，模仿能力强、记忆力好，学习记忆速度快，乐于参与形式多样的教学活动。绝大部分孩子对英语有一定的兴趣，愿意参与课堂活动，愿意积极回答问题，敢于用英语表达自己的想法。

教学目标

一、教学目标

  1. 通过观察了解书名、作者和绘图者等信息。

  2. 通过教师引导理解故事大意。

  4. 在老师的帮助下，基本正确地朗读和表演部分故事。

  3. 能够在故事理解中，适当产出一些语句。

二、教学重点

  句型： Will you give me a hug?

         I wish I could, but it will hurt to hug you.

三、教学重点

  语言的发散以及情感的引领。

教学过程

Step 1. Warming up

      Sing a song together.

Step 2. Lead-in

      T guides students to observe the pictures and try to guess the animal hid behind the picture. T intends to attract Ss attention in this step.

Step 3. While reading

      P1-4

      Students have to observe the pictures with the help of following questions

       1)What do you see?

       2) Where are they?

       3) What are they thinking about?

      Answers will be checked by listening and reading.

      Discuss in groups

       1) What will Pins say?

       2) Will Moosling help Pins? And how?

      Retell the story,and read in different roles.

Step 4. After reading

      Try to figure out the answers by discussing.

       1) Why Pins want a hug?

       2) How do you think of Mouse, Hoot and Moosling?

      Hug the classmates you want.

      Think about a suitable title for this story.

Step 5. Homework

      Give your parents a big hug and show your appreciation to them.
